A common theme that comes up when it comes to exercise and dieting for weight loss is people becoming frustrated with progress. Often, all is well and they are getting closer to their goals, but there simply is a lack of patience. They didn't gain all that weight over night so why would they expect to lose it in the same manner?
Remember losing it in a controlled, healthy and consistent manner (1-2 lbs) a week is the key to long lasting results.
Remember small progress adds up to big progress over time if you just stay consistent. Just because you may not be able to see fat loss occur from a day-to-day does not necessarily mean that you need to start making drastic changes.
In fact, trying to make drastic changes when it's not necessary can do more harm than good, as it can make it harder for you to sustain your diet and training and you lose motivation in doing so.
So try to not be quick to jump to conclusions, if you are getting stronger in the gym and your average body weight is dropping on a weekly basis, you oftentimes just need to be more patient.
